[RL - Haruto visiting.]
So apparently, Issei had a boyfriend. And a bunch of other friends besides that.
Which was bizarre and Issei wasn't entirely sure that he believed it just yet. He didn't recall any recent head trauma, and he certainly hadn't been magically tampered with, since that sort of thing was impossible. On the other hand, all of those people were unlikely to lie to him about such things. What would be the point?
As Issei paced around near the bottom of the steps to the temple, he thought about how the person claiming to be his boyfriend was coming over, and how that was seeming like an extremely bad idea. He barely knew what to do with a friend! A boyfriend? It wasn't possible that he'd make it through this meeting alive.
But he did want to see this letter he'd written, since any material evidence would be helpful for his state of mind. And Haruto seemed... nice?
No, he really wasn't making it through alive. It would probably be best to start praying before his inevitable death through embarrassment.

Thankfully the Chairman had been somewhat polite in allowing haruto to leave early and see his boyfriend. After giggling like a fend first, he quickly thrust the boy out and into the portal - Haruto landed. Loudly on the ground and winced slightly, pushing himself off the ground.
"That wasn't nice at all. Ooww..." he groaned, rubbing his head and then knee as he stood up. In his pocket was - the letter. He removed the letter and looked around him in search of the familiar face.
"I-Issei?"

After a moment to recover from his shock, Issei sped to Haruto's side. "A-are you all right? I'm sorry, I didn't mean for your arrival to be painful, I should have - put a mat there or something. M-my deepest apologies."
That had to be a bad omen, but perhaps it was just common with Haruto.

"N-no, its alright. That's usually how my arrivals are. I-I'm afraid that's just how the portal from my Chairman's office works. It was either that or I end up in the bathroom." he smiled, nervously, standing. He felt his cheeks remain with that same heat as he brought up the letter.
"Uhm... Th..This is it." he addressed softly, holding out the letter to him.
"it was given to me by a small demon found in the school... Its uncommon for that kind of creature to be on school grounds, but... It isn't bad. It just brought me this, then left..."

"Well, at least you wouldn't have injured yourself had you ended up in the bathroom," Issei pointed out, taking the letter from Haruto's hand." The temptation to look at it now was strong, but he was a host. "Please, come inside. I made you tea... erm, I'm not sure what kind you liked, but I hope it's to your tastes?"
no subject
"I'm sure it is." he replied confidently, "Y-you do make very good tea..."

He paused for a moment, turning red. Th-this was his boyfriend, right? Was he supposed to do boyfriend things like hold hands? Was that a friend thing, even? It had been ages since he'd thought about such things! But if Haruto expected him to behave in the same way - augh, he didn't even know how he usually behaved!
Feeling that it was better to just do something and pretend that it felt natural than stand debating about it, Issei took Haruto's hand. I-if pressed later, he could always claim that he was just making sure he didn't trip on the steps or something.

He was busy trying to decipher the feeling going on inside him, when he felt Issei take his hand. His breath hitched for a moment and he looked up at the other boy, before holding his hand in return.

By the time that they reached the temple, Issei was barely able to squeak out, "Th-this way, please," and start in the direction of the kitchen. His nerves hadn't been this bad in ages.

"O-Of course..."
Memories there or not. Haruto would trust Issei implicitly.

"H-how has everyone else been with you?" he asked, "After your entry, I mean."

((So, for the upcoming 'Have You Met My Wife?' virus... do you want to marry these two to each other? The community owes them a break, and it'd be adorable.))
i cans type i swears >.>
"I don't think you're being a jerk."

((Happens to all of us~ Then it's agreed upon!))
no subject
"Hmm. That means a lot." he replied, confidently.

"Then, with that out of the way, allow me to welcome you to the temple. I haven't hosted a guest lately, so please, let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to do. I'll do my best to accommodate you."
((Well, they got to know each other better because of the touchy-feely virus...))

"I - I was..." he looked back up at Issei, and paused for a moment. Unblinking, and dizzy from those damned butterflies.
"I just... wanted to help make you feel better..."

"I.. I care about you, very much." he added, gently looking to him. "I want to help you as much as I can... I'm just - I'm just not sure how."
no subject
Finally, he answered, "I think just knowing that is enough to help. Caring about someone is what's more important, really, than doing things for that person."
no subject
"I want to do something for you." he added, "You've been more than kind and caring for me... I want to do something in return for you."
