At the moment, the blanket on Issei's hotel bed was missing.

Said blanket was wrapped around Issei in an effort to ignore the fact that he... she had a wildly different figure now. If she didn't see it, it didn't exist.

This was not working very well.

"Ha... and I thought my life couldn't get any more bizarre."

Sighing, Issei buried her head in her hands and waited for Archer to arrive.

As Archer ushered Issei in the restaruant, he looked around for the familiar porcupine like spikes of Ban's hair. Rider's lover wasn't too hard to find and Archer took care to discreetly direct Issei over towards Ban without causing a scene.

Issei scanned the crowd, worries assuaged. It was a respectable place, after all. Not that she thought Archer would bring her anywhere else, but...

(Once, she thought she saw someone who looked familiar, but it was probably just a case of a similar hairstyle. There would be no reason for anyone in the community to be here, anyway.)

"You've been here before, Archer?" she asked.

An eyebrow arched when Ban caught sight of a tall, white-haired man directing a smaller woman over. Didn't look anything like Rin...it was then that Ban remembered just who else was struck by the communitywide virus.

"This is going to be awkward," he mumbled, opting to remain where he was. Better that he have Archer and Issei come over to him rather than hunt them down; the kid had to be feeling horrible enough as it was.

Archer grinned and said, "I use to work here once upon a time actually." He directed Issei to a seat so Ban could make eye contact.

"Really? Huh, that's strange. I wonder if the staff will remember you..." She took her seat, frowning up at Archer. "I keep thinking I see someone I recognize here, but it's probably a coincidence."

Okay. As if this wasn't going to be easy already, now he had to go hunt them down. Sighing, Ban raked a hand through his hair, then walked into the dining area, clapping Archer on the back.

"Didn't think the first time we'd meet would be in such a nice place!" he said, smiling. "How's it going?"

Archer looked up and grinned as Ban clasped him on the back. He replied, "Good, hi Ban this is . . . well, Issei. She's had some problems."

As soon as she sat down, Issei looked up as well, considerably more startled. "Midou? What are you doing here? I thought you lived in another w- city."

"I highly doubt that, Issei, it's been a long time," Archer explained as he looked around. He pulled out the chair for Issei and waited for her to sit down.
