HARUTO HOUJOU [ HAUNTED JUNCTION ]		KAITO KUROBA [ MAGIC KAITO ]
	The Boyfriend. The person Issei loves at all costs, without regard to his own self. He wants to protect Haruto from all that scares him in this world, which is... a lot. There's nothing he wouldn't do to help him. And they're ridiculously adorable together.		The Unrequited Love. Issei loves Kaito/Kaitou Kid deeply and truly, and would probably walk off a cliff for him. (Hang glider, but still.) As Kaito, he and Issei enjoy a teasing, best buds kind of relationship. As Kaitou Kid, Issei's admiration for the thief shines through.
SAGURU HAKUBA [ MAGIC KAITO ]		BAN MIDOU [ GETBACKERS ]
	The Best Friend. Hakuba and Issei have had their quarrels, often over Issei's love life, but they truly care for one another. Hakuba depends on Issei to keep him grounded, and he does the same for Issei. Were anything to happen to Issei, Hakuba would be almost inconsolable. Were anything to happen to Hakuba, Issei would be the first to avenge him.		The Jerkface. Issei is often aggravated by Ban, who enjoys riling him up and watching him scream or flail. But if something bad were to happen, Issei would be among the first to make sure that Ban was okay. Though he worries constantly over his safety, Issei knows that Ban can handle himself in a fight. He just wants to avoid taking the risk.
KAREN MINAZUKI [ YES! PRECURE 5 ]		NAOTO SHIROGANE [ PERSONA 4 ]
	The Friend Who Is A Girl. Issei's proven on at least one occasion that he's willing to die for Karen's protection. (Karen hates that more than anything.) They've been friends since the moment Issei joined the community. There are few barriers between their trust of each other, and Issei can confide in her with anything.		The Anchor. Naoto's always been there to cheer him up and renew his confidence in himself. They fought together against the Shadows and made an effective team, with Issei taking mortal blows for her more than once. Issei restores Naoto's faith in herself as well, and in all aspects of life they make an unbeatable pair. It doesn't even bother Issei that she's a girl.
WILLIAM BIRKIN [ RESIDENT EVIL ]		TYKI MARQUISE [ D.GRAYMAN ]
	The Morally Questionable Friend. Issei is convinced that somewhere in Birkin there's a good person, or at least a not evil person, waiting to come out. Why else would he treat Issei so kindly? Or act so cutely when complimented? The fact that he's attractive doesn't hurt, but Issei's never been interested in that kind of relationship with him.		The Hot One. Issei thinks of Tyki mostly in sexual terms. Sure, he wants to be friends with Tyki, but he wants to be friends with lots of people. The distinguishing feature of Tyki and Issei's relationship is that it's blatantly sexual even when they aren't kissing or having sex. The man is just that hot; pity Issei would never date him.
YOSUKE HANAMURA [ PERSONA 4 ]		RUKIA KUCHIKI [ BLEACH ]
	The Derp. Yosuke means well, Issei knows, but sometimes it's hard not to shake his head and sigh. Issei understands Yosuke's good intentions and appreciates his honesty. He helps him up when he's down - literally, when they were fighting the Shadows. They get along rather well, and are only growing closer.		The Noble. Issei has supported Rukia in her leadership of the Kuchiki house. He's worried over her safety when she was attacked. And he's been there as a friend to guide her when she needed direction. They're not particularly close, but things could change.
KASUMI TENDOU [ RANMA 1/2 ]		BASS [ MEGAMAN ]
	The Big Sister. Issei clings to Kasumi as his bastion of support. She's eternally loving, forgiving, and kind. Kasumi treats Issei as family, and he does the same for her. Hopefully he'll improve on his track record for sisters.		The Playtoy. Issei finds Bass fun to rile up. It's remarkably easy to make him lose his temper. He wants Bass to be happy, of course, but that's more because he's Kaito's friend than anything else. Still, he'd like to get to know him better.
BLIND MAG [ REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA ]		RIDER [ FATE/STAY NIGHT ]
	The Mature One. Issei hates Mag's circumstances. He really does. But she's turned out all the stronger for it, and he respects that deeply. They're good friends, and they will be through most events.		The Troll. Rider loves taunting Issei, more sharply than her husband does. It's strange, then, that Issei considers her a friend. He would be among the first to leap to her aid, and he won't stand for anyone else insulting her. These feelings are secretly returned.
MEGAMAN [ MEGAMAN ]		MARAICH [ BANCORAN ]
	The Little Brother. Megaman is almost part of Issei's family now, and he strives to take care of him. It doesn't matter that he's a robot. Issei honestly doesn't think about that all that much. All he cares about is his dear friend's happiness, and Megaman cares about keeping Issei safe.		The Drama Queen. There's no denying that Issei and Maraich are friends. Sometimes, however, Maraich wears on Issei's patience. He's immature and overly sensitive. Still, Issei wouldn't trade their friendship for the world.
SPAIN [ AXIS POWERS HETALIA ]		NANAKO DOJIMA [ PERSONA 4 ]
	The Country. Spain is amazingly kind and effortlessly nice. He's also incredibly energetic, a trait Issei usually lacks. They suit each other well. By this point, Issei's gotten used to the idea of one of his friends being the country of Spain.		The Little Girl. It all began when Issei treated Nanako kindly. He treated her like she was a grown-up, and it made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. Soon she had a crush on him. Issei has no idea what to do about said crush.
AOKO NAKAMORI [ MAGIC KAITO ]		ERIS [ SINDBAD: LEGEND OF THE SEVEN SEAS ]
	The Love's Lover. Issei and Aoko are friends on their own merits. Aoko often worries about him. Recently, they've been having more friction because Issei is blatantly in love with Aoko's fiance, Kaito. Issei is more than happy to step out of the way.		The Employer. Issei does not like Eris at all. However, Eris has power. Issei used that power in the labors plot to save Archer from his fate. For that, Issei will forever be grateful to Eris.
RYOKO ASAKURA [ THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZIMAYA ]		MUKURO ROKUDO [ KATEKYO HITMAN REBORN! ]
	The Murderer. Issei had little opinion on Ryoko before the Assassins Event. He trusted her up until the part where she betrayed him and Karen and killed both of them. Since then, he has never forgiven her. Killing him is excusable, but killing Karen cannot be allowed.		The Sick Freak. Issei carelessly did not fall head over heels for a girl that Mukuro was fond of, and dared to take the other side in her conflict. Angered by this, Mukuro later possessed Issei's body and used it to torture his friends and family. Issei is, understandably, pissed off about this. Nothing Mukuro does now can make up for what he's done.
GREED [ FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST ]		EISUKE HONDOU [ DETECTIVE CONAN ]
	The Annoyance. Issei really can't stand Greed. Sure, he doesn't mean any harm. That doesn't stop him from being a huge pain in the ass. Greed can always get a rise out of Issei, possibly without even trying. If he were to show up on Issei's world, Issei would throw a fit until he got the heck off of it.		The Onesided Enemy. Issei wants to be friends with Eisuke, he really does. But that whole 'we can't be friends because you're gay' thing can be really annoying. And then there was the Hogwarts virus... Issei's not surprised if Eisuke doesn't ever want to speak to him, ever.
