[RL with Klavier - 'cause you can shake it shake it shake it~]

This was almost certainly a bad idea, but Issei had agreed to it, and Issei kept his promises. Even incredibly stupid promises.

Meeting Klavier again, for this purpose, made his heart hammer in his chest. He bowed low, using the formality as an excuse to try hide the immense blush spreading over his face when Klavier hadn't even said anything yet. "I-it's good to see you. Everything's been all right, I hope?"

Just kill him now. That would be so much easier than going to see... this.

By the time Issei had shown up, Klavier was ready to take the younger man clubbing, just as he had promised to do. His hair was styled as usual, but he was wearing a different outfit than he was normally accustomed to wearing, leather pants and a partially unbuttoned mauve dress-shirt. He had forgone wearing too much jewelry, donning only the essentials such as his earrings and a Gavinners ring on his right hand.

He watched Issei’s greeting with a certain endeared amusement, ginning at the display. He only took a moment to fully appreciate the formal greeting before reaching out with one hand and tipping Issei’s chin up so he could give him his own greeting, “Guten Abend, Issesi…I’ve been pretty good…”

Well that’s not entirely true, but over all he was doing alright, “are you ready to go, or would you like to come inside for a bit?”

Naturally, the physical contact caused his face to burn up even more. Issei straightened up, trying to meet Klavier's gaze and act like he wasn't embarrassed. "Ah, um, which would you prefer? I think I would rather rest after the... event than before it, if it has any unwanted effects."

Klavier didn't make a show of how adorable it was to watch Issei's face suffuse with color, he didn't want to make the younger man feel anymore self-conscious around him than the ex-rocker assumed that he already was. Though not everybody felt comfortable around the prosecutor he tried to make his presence as casual as possible, taking Issei's arm and curling it around his own, "if that's what you'd rather do, then I'm ready to go, Herr..."

Klavier took a moment to lock up, without releasing his hold on Issei before leading him towards their mode of transportation, a royal purple Bugatti Veyron sports car, standing beside two motorcycles.

Issei took a deep breath to calm himself down. This was going to be fine. Absolutely fine. See, Klavier was treating him well, there was no reason to-

What on earth.

"In terms of total value, I don't think I've ever been near this much expensive transportation in my life," Issei admited, wide-eyed. "We are taking the car, right? I-I don't know how to safely ride a motorcycle and I don't know if we have time for a lesson."

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-07-10 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah...I'm a bit of a nut, especially where motorcycles are concerned," Klavier said offhandedly, leaving Issei's side long enough to run his hand over one of the motorcycles, "this one is a restored Vincent Black Shadow, it's my favorite so it stays put...the idea of ruining it...well..."

Klavier had been in a motorcycle accident and it was not something he cared to repeat. Despite his brazen nature the prosecutor was not a reckless driver, so the accident hadn't been his fault.

"But don't worry...as much as it would please me to have you squeezed right up against me...I don't want to mess you up, you look nice the way you are...and I would have to dress you in the proper gear," not to mention Klavier was hardly dressed for riding on a motorcycle. Holding up his key he pressed a button that unlocked the car door, "after you, Herr."

Issei nodded in thanks before carefully climbing into the passenger seat. "This is incredibly luxurious. Do prosecutors really make this kind of money? Haa, maybe I should have taken up law instead of the cloth. My father would be so disappointed in me."

He doubted his father would have minded too much, but he'd at least voice some objections. Anyway, he'd never truly wanted to avoid his heritage.

"I don't suppose we ever spoke of my...multiple careers," Klavier said slipping into the driver's seat beside Issei, incredibly flattered that the younger man appreciated his car, "I was a rock-star for some ten years, a very popular one. Though being a prodigious attorney and a pretty good one can be lucrative too."

Starting up the engine Klavier pulled out of the drive a good nature chuckling bubbling up from him, "I think it's good being anything you want to be...some people have one perfect dream and some have a number of dreams...as long as your chasing a path with everything you've got there's nothing to regret...Sure...the money is good. I get to make the world a little better with what I have too, but...I think it's always been about going after whatever I wanted to do with everything I have. I think your passion as a Monk is like that."

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2011-07-11 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
"I think so, as well." Issei smiled softly. "It's something I was born into, certainly, but there has rarely been doubt in my mind that I wanted to help people through the best way that I could. If I can be there for someone in their hour of need, then I have done something fulfilling."

It would have been nice if people didn't mock him for it, or just call him 'monk' like it was all he existed for, but you couldn't have everything.

"Is the club very far?"

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah...so you're a bit of a philanthropist then, huh? We have something in common after all," Klavier might not have looked much like it, considering his own flashy lifestyle, but he was pretty big on using a hefty portion of his money in order to help those in need. Of course by himself Klavier was still only capable of so much, "as long as you're doing your best then there's no such thing as a meager dream, ja?"

Klavier was a civil person if not somewhat mischievous sometimes, so while he would never mock Issei, he would go his best to "help" him overcome certain obstacles even though there were probably less raunchy ways of going about it.

"Eh...it's not too far, about 10 minutes out," which wasn't a long drive, but considering where he lived everything was pretty much within his reach. Proof of this came soon enough when they found themselves parked outside of an incredibly stylish looking establishment.

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2011-07-12 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Less raunchy, but also less fun?

Issei stared at it. Much as he would hate to admit it, he expected something more... seedy. That was thinking too lowly of his host, he realized. "This is our destination?"

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-08-05 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
“Ja…heh…I can tell this wasn’t what you were expecting,” and this club really wasn’t just another seedy strip joint, even the outside looked high end. It was a large building, incredibly contemporary looking with unusual, but clean shapes making up the design. In the night lights of L.A. it looked like it had a metallic white sheen. There was even valet parking, exemplified when Klavier slid out of his car and passed off his keys to the waiting valet.

While his car was being driven away the ex-rocker slung an arm around Issei wanting any passersby to know that this was his date. Naturally it wouldn’t be good if the monk was swept away by someone else, but Klavier was hard pressed to believe that there was anyone here who could compete with him in terms of looks and charm…as far as men were concerned, “it’s more like an executive’s club…this place is brilliant too…there's a section for female strippers and one for male strippers…but if you’re eating at the steakhouse and bar upstairs you can get a nice view on either side…then there is the VIP clam where you can watch in privacy…or you can opt for these fantasy rooms…there is the black, red and silver rooms…the harem room…the forum room…or we can sit on the ground floor. So there are plenty of options Herr.”

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2011-08-07 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
Issei stared at the entrance for a few more moments. "...Strippers are complicated. Um. Err. ...what would you like best?"

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"Complicated huh? Well...I'd say they are varied at the very least..." Klavier said as they entered the establishment, guiding Issei as they went, "I was thinking, the steakhouse and bar might be a good place to start...you know...gradual exposure...and if you feel comfortable we could move downstairs or someplace...private?"

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 04:04 pm (UTC)(link)
"I don't know if I want to be around other patrons, though... Private might be better? I don't know? I really have no idea so you might want to make my decision for me?" Issei understood that he was stammering and babbling, and forcibly shut his mouth. "...but whatever works."

[identity profile] herrglimmerous.livejournal.com 2011-08-10 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's alright to voice exactly what you want...you're my date for the evening after all," Klavier said grinning down at Issei, giving his shoulders a little squeeze. Of course he was seriously considering what would be best for Issei at the moment since making him too uncomfortable wasn't the goal he had in mind, "a private clam then?"

[identity profile] stripping.livejournal.com 2011-08-10 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
A nod. "Private." He was going to act like he knew what he was doing, at least.
