Issei, please. Listen to me. I care for you as much as I would a dear friend or even a brother, and so I need you to realize this.

It is my fondest and only heartfelt wish to be able to act as a loyal knight and bring Kayneth-dono victory instead of how I disappointed Fionn in life. There is nothing else I could wish to accomplish, and it is something I must do on my own.

Believe me when I say your kindness and offers of help have been worth more to me then you could ever imagine. But I can not accept any but myself bringing about the end of this war, even though I don't know how I will do so.
