Issei stares at it for a few moments, then goes to get a black marker. Scowling, he blacks out the entire square.]

You tell me not to sacrifice my happiness for yours all the time, because that's what I naturally think will be best for you but you don't want me to be miserable. But you always try to sacrifice your happiness for others' happiness, even when they're already happy. Even if you think you don't deserve to be happy, which you do, you can't make others happy by making yourself lonely or sad! It... it doesn't work that way.

I think that there isn't a fixed amount of happiness in the universe. You can't give yours away to someone else, and when you're happy, that doesn't mean you're stealing somebody else's. Happiness is more like a thing that can grow anywhere, and everybody deserves it. You deserve it.
