You know, I had almost forgotten what it was like to have to actually campaign for student council president. I've been running unopposed for so long... I ought to see if the council has made any progress toward finding a replacement for me.

I'd say that I was grateful that my teachers were not normally that strange, except I can't actually decide if Fujimura-sensei makes a more bewildering English teacher than Excalibur-sensei.

Ah, and Kuroba, I was serious about what I said to you on the subject of making sure you could attend one of Kid's heists. I'm more determined to, since Kid is now more likely to listen to my concerns than he was. What is your schedule?

The most unworthy individuals are always the ones that rise to the top of the social ladder. I'd rather be in your place.

I don't think you'd really say that if you knew what it's like to be so far down you're not even on the ladder. For some reason, people don't want to help people like that-they want to stomp on them to keep them down.

I would rather be stomped on than share the same social strata as the people at the top. At least my own integrity would never be in question.

I am quire popular in my school; the two people who are, or were, about as popular as me are Tohsaka and Matou. Matou is scum not fit to be allowed at school, and the less said about Tohsaka the better.

Yeah, but there's a difference between being disliked and being hated to the point that people can't even stand to have you exist, even if you're not hurting anyone or anything. They're not even happy to ignore you-people want to go out of their way to hurt you, or make you sad, just because you are who you are, not because of what you've done or how you act.

That's good. There are a lot of people in this world that are labelled trash or worthless, but it's not true of a single person. A lot of the time they're just misunderstood or find it hard to be a part of things, which just means they need people can can understand them, and can help them to be a part of the world.

My current English teacher is a kendo master who goes into a berserker rage if anyone calls her 'tiger', eats her weight in food in the space of five minutes, and is connected to the yakuza. Honestly, I have no idea which of them is more strange.
