At the moment, the blanket on Issei's hotel bed was missing.

Said blanket was wrapped around Issei in an effort to ignore the fact that he... she had a wildly different figure now. If she didn't see it, it didn't exist.

This was not working very well.

"Ha... and I thought my life couldn't get any more bizarre."

Sighing, Issei buried her head in her hands and waited for Archer to arrive.

"Yes, we should, you ready?" Archer said as he offered his arm to the feminine version of his friend. He felt a pang as he realized that if Issei had been a girl, things would have gone a lot differently.

((Well, they could have the dream tonight and . . . Feme!Issei gets some Archer lovin?))

"Of course." Issei took his arm, inwardly cursing how incredibly girly this all was. Then again, guys went out to eat with each other all the time. This wasn't a date or anything.

...Much as he would've liked it to be.

Archer smiled, actually happy that he could make Issei happy. He patted his friend's hand absently as they walked out of the hotel room. He asked, "Do you like western food?"

"I don't mind it," Issei answered amiably. "Is that what you had in mind?"

Archer lead Issei through the town, hoping that Ban would be at the place. He chuckled at some of the admiring glances Issei got.

Issei really wasn't paying attention to the looks coming her way. She might have noticed them if she'd been expecting them, but in her mind there was no reason for anyone to pay special attention to her. "What are you laughing at?"

"All the attention you're getting," Archer admitted, "See, I'm not the only one who thinks you're attractive."

Issei's face started burning up as she frantically looked around. "H-hey, that isn't - they don't know any better, that's all!" she protested loudly.

"Are you sure, Issei?" Archer teased.

"I'm sure," she repeated. "Pah... do men do this to every woman that walks by?"

"Well, you are rather attractive and . . . curvy. That distracts men who are interested in women," Archer explained, probably more aware of Issei's sexual orientation than he was at this point.

Issei sighed and covered her face with her free hand. "I'm thinking of wearing a pin that says 'not actually a woman'," she groaned.

"Then that will attract a whole other type to watch you then," Archer said dryly.

"Great. I wish I hadn't asked." Then, suspiciously, "You said this was a nice place, right?"

"Yes it is. I'd take Rin there," Archer assured him.

"Good. Otherwise, I think I'd take my chances with the hotel," Issei replied.

"And that's never good and highly expensive," Archer replied.

"But less seedy," Issei pointed out. "...although I suppose I couldn't afford the meals there, actually..."

"Rin grouses at the prices of room service and hotel fair," Archer replied.

"And if Tohsaka can't afford it, I certainly can't," Issei said, taking another look around the streets. "Are we almost there?"

"Rin's just insanely cheap, as most people who have money are," Archer said with a fond smile.

"I think everyone is insanely cheap, except for the obscenely rich," Issei answered. "I guess Tohsaka isn't quite wealthy enough to qualify."

"Actually, they're even worse," Archer confessed to her, glairing at a Yazuka punk that was watching his friend too closely.
