I've never hated someone with this intensity. It's frightening, it's not appropriate for a monk. So much of what I do goes against what I'm suppose to be... I don't even believe the right things any longer.

In the end, this event seems to have sparked uncertainity for you... I see. Few can be true masters of their emotions. In the end it comes down to two things. Whether you wish to try to regain the belief and attitudes associated with monkhood, as you have strived for all this time, or whether you wish to view this side of you as a reason to change.

Even if it's impossible... I'd rather try to be that ideal monk.

Then strive for it. Show me the strength of human will and refuse to let go. Is not the way to Nirvana to surpass and uproot such things as hatred and unease?

Humans fascinate me in their own way. I cannot claim love; that would be beyond all else. But they entertain me beyond all else. I wish to see them flourish, grow strong and die fulfilled. That is my entertainment. It is not altruism, but the pleasure given to one who oversees and fights over the human race.

I have my goals for your kind, but until they are realised, I can spare some attention for those who I consider worthwhile. Time is both too vast and too small.

Of all the people here, I cannot understand how I have captured your attention as worthwhile. But I will continue to strive to do so, for I do feel a kind of love for my friends, and that includes you.
