Can we aim for a level between 'roughed up' and 'dead', not inclusive? I have a worldhop arranged already.

Do you know anything about the enemy's capabilities?

Do you know anything about mine? Do you have any confidence in me whatsoever, or will you plan for the worst before the fight even begins?

I always plan for the worst. If I don't and there was something more I could have done to help you, how will I ever forgive myself?
