The temple had a large room with tables and chairs, usually used for meetings between the monks. Right now it had been appropriated for Issei's birthday party, and was full of food and streamers. Guests were milling about, talking to each other and waiting for Issei to arrive.

Which he did, dropping his jaw at the sight. "Wh-what is all this?"

"What about girls?" Even if Maraich was rather feminine himself, most of the women Ggio had seen on the community seemed harmless enough.

"No thanks. I'm not interested in women."

The idea didn't appeal to him in the least; he was only attracted to men. And although he was willing to be a little lenient he at least wanted to date someone he could be romantic with.

"So what are you gonna do?"

Frowning slightly in thought, he crouched down to better peer at the kids, but kept his distance since he knew Matthias didn't like his mask.

"Right now...? I've been staying single. So that the kids are safe."

Figaro gave him a passing glance before going back to his own stuff - notably with a streamer attached to his back that Matthias had put there. And Matthias had gone back to trying to get another streamer.
