[Open RL - Issei's birthday party.]

The temple had a large room with tables and chairs, usually used for meetings between the monks. Right now it had been appropriated for Issei's birthday party, and was full of food and streamers. Guests were milling about, talking to each other and waiting for Issei to arrive.

Which he did, dropping his jaw at the sight. "Wh-what is all this?"

((Feel free to talk to each other and to Issei! Enjoy~))

I still appreciate the effort, regardless of that.

I'll have to thank Akasaka-san for making it and Shirogane-san for letting me take it! It's good to be back home after spending a week at the nature preserve.

Is that where you work?

Oh, no! I'm still working at Cafe Mew Mew, but a little while ago, we all packed up and spent a week at a remote island nature preserve to help out. See, um, the cafe owners are also biologists studying endangered species and DNA! Even though Shirogane-san is only two years older than I am, he's already out of school.

...I didn't follow a word of that.

Why cafe owners are huge environmental biologists.

I don't really know. You'd have to ask them.
