Is there some way to locate her? Kayneth's magic, or more likely some magic provided by the community in a dire situation?

Kayneth-dono's too badly injured to even use magic at this point. And if whoever attacked her doesn't want to be found, I wouldn't be surprised if they've guarded against something that obvious.

There's no reason to believe that the person who attacked her knows about the community and what it can do, and has therefore guarded against that. Let us help you.

I should...be able to do this on my own. And what if we still can't find her, even with all that?

If you don't want her to suffer, then use every tool at your disposal to prevent it rather than saying you 'should' be able to do things on your own.
