For the record: I am not currently employed at a maid cafe. Any belief I had that I was employed at one came from the virus. I have no desire whatsoever to work there.

I also violently despise Koizumi Akako, who brainwashed me again. And I am exceedingly grateful for the Valentine's Day virus.

Nine labors completed, six left. More than half, at last.

Hopefully the replacement motorcycle will somewhat abate Rider's wrath, but I don't want to take chances. And since I'm not very good at this whole 'stealing' thing, honestly... I guess it's the 'look for Kite in the digital world' task next. Does anyone know who that is?

((Rider's motorcycle has been stolen, and Akako has been kissed.

Remaining tasks, for the curious!

1. Go into the digital world and find Kite.
2. Steal Dark Nation from Rufus. (Issei's planning to do this during the wedding, when he hopefully won't be home.)
3. Sneak into his palace and steal Joyeurse and Swordbreaker from Larsa.
4. Defeat Allen in poker.
5. Steal Chuck Bass’ scarf.
6. Steal Cori’s cat and survive the hellhole he lives in.))

[Comes back with the food on a tray a moment later, set out neatly in the traditional serving style.] Here you are.

Ah, thank you. You could join me, although I suppose you've already eaten. [He picks up his chopsticks and take a bite.]

I can still enjoy your company. [Takes a seat, pouring him some green tea from a kettle that appears out of nowhere. Then some for herself.]

[Takes a sip.] Your wounds are healed?

[He always knew women were capable of summoning tea kettles.] And I yours.

I think so. They've stopped being painful, at least. [He lifts up one of his hands to examine it - the beginnings of a scar is visible.] I think I'll be all right.

[Hammerspace was convenient like that.]

That is good. [She still looks concerned.] No lasting effects, I should hope?

Other than the scarring, none. I've been returned to full health.

[Another bite, and...] These noodles are delicous!

Wonderful! [She smiles in relief. Trials and thievery...well, he was stilling people's things, but surely such a nice young man had a good reason for it. Many people on the community did not think before they typed...then again, he was disrupting people's lives....]

Oh! [Such manners. Yes, it would be best to simply trust his intentions.] Thank you.

You're quite welcome. Do you cook often?

[He's glad someone believes that he had good intentions, at least.]

Indeed I do. [Three times a day or more. :D!] I am glad you like it, dear. Would you like some more? [A healthy appetite is a wonderful thing.]

[No other cooks in the house?] That would be very nice, thank you.

[Not if you want to live. :|]

[Goes and gets some more for you! Back a minute later.] Here you are.

[Yeah, he knows those kinds of cooks.] Thanks. [And starts eating again! :D Om nom nom.]

[A bright smile.] You're welcome!

[Oh hey there's the kind of appetite she loves to see again! And he has manners. Watching people shove food in their face with little care for it gets old after a while.]

So how have you been doing lately? [And pleasant lunch talk is an added bonus.]

[Sips her tea. It's appreciated, really. She hasn't seen anyone from the community (unvirused) for a while.] I have been well, thank you for asking. A bit busy, but still. And your labors have not been as problematic as the earlier ones...?

Keeping busy isn't neccessarily bad. [He just wishes he was less so.] About the same, really. They haven't been as difficult to accomplish, but the reaction to my completing them has been worse.

Though being distracted from ones friends can be rather lonesome. [Another sip of the tea.] You're done a lot so far. I do hope there are not many more?

Only six left. I'll be finished before you know it. [He smiles at her.] So, I won't need to trouble you for very long.

Six...[Oh, that could take him a long time, if he is continually interrupted...]

It is no trouble. [Heartwarming smile back~] I am glad to have you here.

Still, it must be something of a hassle, having a guest on such short notice. If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.

[He is nothing if not a polite guest, after all.]

[Issei is winning points in her books. Hey look, a gold star! :D]

It is nothing, truly, though it is kind of you to offer. [A thoughtful look. It's nice that he's offering, though!] Do you need to spend the night?

[Yay! He'll just add it to his gold star collection.]

I think that might be necessary. If you have an extra room, could I please stay? [He could sleep on the floor if need be. Anything but go back to where that crazy woman might find him. D:]

We have an extra futon. Please, stay as long as you like. [Maybe his manners would rub off on Ranma-kun if he did.]

Though, it is not just myself here, dear. My family will be coming home soon. [It was a fair warning, really. Such a lively sort, the Saotomes and her sisters.]

Thank you. Oh, that's fine, I'll be happy to meet your family. [If they were anything like her, it would be a pleasant experience.]

[Absently glances at the clock.] School should let out soon. They should be here in nearly an hour.

[A smile.] More tea?

[Unfortunately, she's the only calm, responsible one of the bunch. :|]
