[Open RL - Issei's birthday party.]

The temple had a large room with tables and chairs, usually used for meetings between the monks. Right now it had been appropriated for Issei's birthday party, and was full of food and streamers. Guests were milling about, talking to each other and waiting for Issei to arrive.

Which he did, dropping his jaw at the sight. "Wh-what is all this?"

Ggio noticed Figaro first, a little warily, then Matthias, and finally he spotted Maraich. He walked over all smiles, anyway; it was nice to see people he recognized.

"Hey, Maraich." Talking felt better than feeling weird around strangers without Ichigo.

[maraich]

"Oh, Ggio, I haven't seen you in awhile," he hovered around the kids, letting them do as they pleased as long as they didn't get themselves hurt. Figaro glanced over but made no moves as he went back to stacking presents.

[ridethetiger]

"Yeah, things had been-" He paused midsentence as he glanced over and met Figaro's eyes. Why did the toddler weird him out so much? "-crazy, for a while, but I should be okay to get out more."

[maraich]

"I've spent most of my time home with the kids. I don't do too much because of how dangerous it could be for them," he leaned on the table, "It'd be a lot easier if I wasn't raising them alone."

Ggio stayed quiet, watching the kids. It was strange and pretty unfair that a creature like himself had someone, but not someone as nice as Maraich.

"We should go hunt for guys one day," he said, as if it was a normal suggestion.

[maraich]

"I've thought about it," he shrugged, "To be honest, finding out that at least the last two were serial killers has turned me off a bit."

He didn't like how close they'd gotten to his family.

[ridethetiger]

"What about girls?" Even if Maraich was rather feminine himself, most of the women Ggio had seen on the community seemed harmless enough.

[maraich]

"No thanks. I'm not interested in women."

The idea didn't appeal to him in the least; he was only attracted to men. And although he was willing to be a little lenient he at least wanted to date someone he could be romantic with.

"So what are you gonna do?"

Frowning slightly in thought, he crouched down to better peer at the kids, but kept his distance since he knew Matthias didn't like his mask.

[maraich]

"Right now...? I've been staying single. So that the kids are safe."

Figaro gave him a passing glance before going back to his own stuff - notably with a streamer attached to his back that Matthias had put there. And Matthias had gone back to trying to get another streamer.
