Let's never go through that again. For one thing, I would rather not put all of you who rescued me to the trouble of fetching me. (Except for Greed. I don't care about Greed.) For another, I really don't think I like being paraded before a group of magi.

You noticed I was fairly capable of defending you all, once you rescued me, right? Thanks to my Origin - and apparently I Awakened to it through force of will, whatever that means - I get a bit of a boost for every friend of mine I'm defending. Even assuming only a dozen of the monks count as loved ones, I have about fifty friends to protect. It adds up.
